How I feel as a purely self-taught artist.00250908-154359.jpg

Traditional Art VS Digital Art. Which is more accepted nowadays?
I feel a little upset over the fact that digital art is MORE accepted than traditional. As a traditional artist who mainly uses ink, i feel offended.
The past week, I was asked to design our freshmen university shirt tee print. I was so excited because I belive they were going to print my design, which is made traditionally with ink, As i remembered, people nowadays design tee prints with photoshop, Am i right? They were my senior. I asked them if it was alright to use my traditional style, they said it was okay, They will be in charge of how it was going to be printed.
This morning, a senior who is a digital artist messaged me, he told me they wouldn’t be able to print the tee since it’s harder to do so because it wasn’t designed digitally. He told be he will be the one instead to make and change the design i did. It’s not a big deal, but i feel like digital art over traditional art is more accepted today than it used to be. Traditional Art used to be appreciated by the society and was paid a high amount of money for that certain art they did. As of the modern era, which is today, it is Digital Art over Traditional. I guess digital wins.
I just feel so down that i’ve been thinking about this since morning, Finally let out my rant here. I’ll always be a traditional artist because it lets out my real talent without any help from technology.
